Hudson River, NYC

After spending a wonderful day wondering around New York City on this brisk autumn day with my good friend Simone, we headed down the West Side Highway toward her apartment on the upper west side. As I looked toward the Hudson River, the setting sun was producing a red color on the water that was like nothing I had ever seen before. We pulled over to the side of the road and watched the people walk by on the pedestrian and bike path. Many of them were so engaged in their evening rituals that they didn't even notice the beauty of the scene. These bike riders seemed to by floating on the water as they whisked by along the path.
