Morro de Sao Paulo, Bahia, Brazil

This boatman appeared along with the sun like a symphony before my eyes on my last morning in Morro de Sao Paulo, a delightful, remote island paradise several hours from Salvador De Bahia. Like the lilting music of the country, I was drawn into his movements, as he performed what to him was the mundane task of fixing his boat, but to me could have the creation of a whole universe, or at least a beautiful song.
